Hi y’all!
Okay, so we’ve started our little projects and are being busy little bees! Crocheting and knitting are two things that Denise and I have always enjoyed and we are so thrilled about starting Hogans’ Handiwork! One of the main things about crocheting for me is that I’ve only ever done a double crochet stitch. I was a little concerned about learning anything new because everything seemed so easy when Denise did it.
But then she introduced me to the Solomon Knot. The Solomon Knot is a beautiful stitch that we use for full length scarves or neck warmers. We use a lace weight yarn of many different colors and the scarves can be worn in winter, spring…and summer! The yarn is so lightweight that you can wear it out, be stylish and not get too hot! I started my first Solomon Knot neck warmer a couple of days ago. Here is a sneak peek!!!
